Skiing in Les Gets

The best ski resort in France

Les Gets is widely recognised as one of the best ski resorts in Europe. Thanks to it’s consistent level of snowfall and range of pistes for all abilities, it’s one of the best rated ski resorts in The Alps.

Les Gets has over 120km of pistes in it’s own sector, with direct access to the internationally renowned Portes du Soleil ski area, which has a huge 650km worth of ski runs. Les Gets, and likewise Portes du Soleil, has a diverse range of slopes for beginners right through to professionals – and everything in between.

Travelling with family? Les Gets is a “Famille Plus Montagne” resort, which is an accreditation for resorts which meet the French tourist board’s family friendly requirements.

The challenging terrain alongside beginner friendly slopes in Les Gets mean that it is the perfect location for all of the family. Alongside the slopes, there’s plenty of things to do in Les Gets village, with a wealth of restaurants and other local amenities.

Whether you’re heading to Les Gets for Winter Sports or visiting Les Gets in the Summer, Summit Special can help with all of your accommodation requirements. Our luxury chalets in Les Gets are great for families or great for an adults escape.

Après-ski in Les Gets

After a long day of skiing, it’s tradition to take part in a spot of après-ski in Les Gets, and there’s plenty of opportunity for this here. With a selection of bars and restaurants on the slopes to enjoy a tartiflette and a glass of champagne, you’ll be spoilt for choice. If you fancy après-ski at a lower altitude, then there’s plenty of selection in Les Gets village.

The party carries on in the evening across the bars and nightclub in Les Gets, with a fun and friendly atmosphere.
