In January, Chalet Hôtel Blythe in Les Gets was immensely proud to play host to an exceptional culinary and alpine adventure. Owners Andy and Tracy Bell welcomed a select group of guests to an event that provided dining from three of the UK’s most celebrated chefs within the luxury of their chalet.
The journey began with a welcoming evening curated by Peter Webster, the chalet’s private chef, at Chalet Hôtel Blythe. Peter also presented a fantastic final evening on night four.

Night two featured a unique partnership between Mark Birchall, chef patron of the now 3 Michelin-starred Moor Hall and the 1 Michelin-starred The Barn at Moor Hall, and Rafael Cagali, of the 2 Michelin-starred Da Terra. Dishes were expertly paired with wines, enhancing the dining experience.
Night four featured a collaboration between Mark Birchall and Gareth Ward, chef owner of the 2 Michelin-starred Ynyshir, with each course thoughtfully matched with complementary wines.

Guests enjoyed a balanced itinerary, with opportunities for skiing, relaxation, and, of course, the exceptional meals. The event provided a unique opportunity to witness the creative processes of chefs at the highest level, demonstrating the skill and dedication required to achieve culinary excellence—a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Another highlight of the trip was a mountain lunch, where guests shared a relaxed dining experience with chefs Mark Birchall, Rafael Cagali, and Gareth Ward.
